Wallaby Joeys Jump Into Hearts Of Zoo-Goers

A trio of newborn red-necked wallaby joeys is jumping into the hearts of visitors to the San Diego zoo's nursery, where they are being hand raised until they are old enough to join the larger court of wallabies.

The baby wallabies are being fed small amounts of a special marsupial formula, three to five times a day and are also eating hay and food pellets.

Wallabies are part of the kangaroo family and are found in Australia and on nearby islands.
