Sri Lanka Wins Fourth ODI By 3 Runs

Sri Lanka beat South Africa by three runs in the rain-hit fourth one day international of series in Kandy.

South Africa already clinch the five match series with an unassailable 3-1.

Earlier, the start of the match was delayed due to rain and reduced to 39 over's per side.

South African stand in captain Quinton De Kock won the toss and elected to field first.

Batting first Sri Lanka scored 306 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 39 over's.

Dasun Shanaka, Thisara Perera and Kusal Perera scored half centuries for Sri Lanka.

Shanaka remained top scorer with 65 runs.

For South Africa, Lungi Ngidi and JP Duminy took two wickets each.
After Sri Lankan innings rain comes again and South Africa were set a revised target of 191 runs in 21 over's.

Chasing a revised target of 191, South Africa made 187 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 21 over's.

Hashim Amla remained top scorer with 40 runs while Jean Paul Duminy added 38 runs.

For Sri Lanka, Suranga Lakmal bagged three while Thisara Perera took two wickets.

Dasun Shanaka was declared man of the match.

The fifth and final match of series will be played on Sunday in Colombo.
