Federal Cabinet Meets In Islamabad
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary briefing the Media has said that Cabinet meeting has decided to abolish discretionary funds as the previous government used 21 billion rupees as discretionary funds.
The Federal Cabinet meeting held in Islamabad with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair that discussed future strategy of the new government in different spheres of life.
He said that a task force will be formed to address issue of under-privileged areas while the funds will be issued after thorough review of development projects.
Information Minister said that Prime Minister has decided not to use Special Plane on Foreign Visits but to travel in club class instead of first class.
Fawad Ch. said that massive Urban Tree Plantation campaign will also be launched to beat the heat.
Talking about mass Transit Projects Cabinet decides to hold forensic audit.
Information Minister said that Government will disband Cadd Ministry while significant improvements will be witnessed in Information Ministry in coming Days.
Fawad Chaudhary said we will try to make 'PTV World' a regional player.
Talking about working of Public Offices Fawad Chaudhry said that Saturday will be observed as Holiday meanwhile the working hours will be observed from 9am to 5p Pm five days a week.
He added that the Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed displeasure over load-shedding on Eid.
