Afghanistan's Four Top Security Officials Resign

Afghanistan’s Ministers of Defense and Interior, as well as another Security Chief, quit, following the resignation of the President’s National Security Adviser.

The Afghan government has confirmed the resignation of four top security officials including Defence Minister Tariq Shah Bahrami, Interior Minister Wais Barmak, NDS head Masoom Stanekzai and Hanif Atmar, National Security Adviser for President Ashraf Ghani and a close ally.
