PM Visits GHQ Rawalpindi
Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the General Headquarters Rawalpindi to receive briefing on matters related to security and Defence of the country.
According to ISPR, Prime Minister Imran Khan appreciated the contributions and sacrifices of Pakistan Army in war against terrorism.
Minister Imran Khan said, Pakistan is facing external and internal challenges but with the support of nation and through a cohesive national approach, we shall successfully overcome these challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said, Pakistan Army will continue to deliver on nation’s expectations of defending the motherland at all costs.
Earlier, on his arrival at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi the Prime Minister Imran Khan was received by Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
The Prime Minister was briefed on defense, internal security and professional matters of Pakistan Army.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, Finance Minister Asad Umar and Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry accompanied the Prime Minister during the visit.
The Prime Minister was presented guard of honor by a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army. Prime Minister Khan and Army Chief General Bajwa also laid floral wreath at the martyrs' memorial and offered Fateha.
