2 Children Killed In Tripoli

Two children were killed after a missile struck a house in Tripoli capital of Libya during ongoing clashes between rival Libyan factions.

The children - 14 and 6 were reportedly playing in the garden when the missile hit their home.

Clashes between warring factions in Tripoli which began earlier this week turned to relative calm after a ceasefire agreement was struck.

Libya's government said in a news conference they would deploy military to the affected areas but tight pockets of fighting continued even after the announcement.

A total of 27 people have been killed and 91 wounded, mostly civilians, since the outbreak of the fighting.
