Shoaib Malik Talks To Journalists

Shoaib Malik says Pakistan and India should play more matches as the contest between the two arch-rivals is always a major crowed-puller in the international cricket.

Talking to journalists in Lahore the veteran all-rounder said the match against India in the upcoming Asia Cup will proved a good opportunity for the Pakistani team to prove their performance.

The two sides are set to lock horns in the on 19 September.

Malik said main responsibility lies on the senior cricketers to ensure the team's victory.

The former skipper said issues in cricketing ties between Pakistan and India can be resolved through talks.

Shoaib Malik has set his sights on playing two more global ICC events before bowing out of the game.

He said the 2020 ICC world T20 in Australia would be his last tournament.
