General Manager PTV Drama and Film Academy announces honoring employees with "Employee of the month award" each month for their outstanding performance.
In this connection, a small ceremony held at PTV Drama and Film Academy on Monday first award has been handed over to Mr. Waris Masih as a token of appreciation.
General Manager emphasized the need for such gestures to boost employee morale and motivation.
General Manager congratulated Christian employees during the ceremony for the upcoming occasion of Christmas this month.
As a gesture of solidarity and festivity "eidi" was also distributed among all Christian employees. At the end of the ceremony Christmas cake was also cut.
In order to keep abreast with latest techniques and trends, training of professionals in their respective fields is always considered important in progressive broadcasting organizations. Pakistan Television with the help of German Government set up its first Central Training Institute (CTI) in 1967.CTI was housed temporarily in the premises of Television Centre, Chaklala, Rawalpindi. Academy is conducting “In house” training courses for PTV professionals in the disciplines of Production, Engineering, Computer and IT.
