Pakistan And China Sign Development Agreement Of Rashakai Special Economic Zone

Pakistan and China have signed development agreement of Rashakai Special Economic Zone in Khyber Pakhtnkhwa.

China Road and Bridge Construction Company is the development partner with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for this project.

The signing ceremony that held in Islamabad was also witnessed by PM Imran Khan.

Addressing the ceremony, the Prime Minister said, Rashakai will be the second largest special economic zone after Faisalabad.

Highlighting that the project will create jobs for the people of province, the Prime Minister said, Pakistan needs industrialization and china's support is instrumental to achieve this goal.

He stated that the CPEC project is not confined to communication links but it covers many other sectors.

The Prime Minister said, the ml-1 project will revolutionize Pakistan Railways and the work is underway to link Mazar-e-Sharif with Peshawar through railroad.

He said, Uzbekistan to Pakistan railway track will usher in a new era of progress and development in the area.

Saying that Pakistan played important role in intra-Afghan peace process, the Prime Minister highlighted that the peace in Afghanistan will contribute to overall progression in the region.
