Govt Will Introduce Legislation To Prevent Rape Cases And Child Abuse: PM
Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced that the government is working on a legislation to prevent rape cases and child abuse by serving exemplary punishments, improving policing and ensuring evidence protection.
Speaking at the joint Sitting of the Parliament, the Prime Minister said the government will also establish a database of sex criminals.
On country's economic condition, he said, Pakistan has successfully tackled the COVID-19 global crisis through smart lockdown.
He stated that the world health organization has also acknowledged Pakistan's strategy of handling the global crisis and asked other states to follow it.
Congratulating the treasury benches for passing FATF related bills, the Prime Minister said, the opposition parties tried to blackmail the government to protect their leaders who are facing money laundering cases.
