South Africa beat Pakistan by 17 runs in high scoring second one day international in Johannesburg and level the three match series 1-1.

Fakhar Zaman made the highest individual score at the Wanderers Stadium, hitting 193 runs.

Earlier, strong top order performance helps South Africa set Pakistan 342 after green shirts elected to bowl.

In reply chasing 342, Pakistan scored 324 runs for the loss of nine wickets in allotted 50 overs.

The third and final one day international of the series will be played on Wednesday in Centurion.

The three one-day internationals will be followed by three T20 internationals.
