A Giant Panda Cub Born During The Pandemic
A giant panda cub born during the pandemic and so far only seen by the public on a virtual "Panda Cam" will greet visitors in person for the first time as the national zoo in Washington reopens.
Zoo officials said the cub, named Xiao Qi Ji is a fourth healthy cub.
The zoo closed in March 2020 as the pandemic hit and reopened in July before shutting down again in November.
The zoo's giant pandas have long been a main attraction but panda lovers might want to get to the zoo sooner than later to catch them in action.
