In Florida a passenger with no flying experience landed a Light Aircraft after being talked down by An Air Controller and a Former Flight Instructor on the ground when the pilot fell ill at the controls mid-air.

Following the controller's instructions the passenger was able to successfully bring the plane down.

Investigating has begun to determine the cause of illness of the pilot.
