Japan 3D-Dog: Giant 3D Dog Appears At Tokyo's Famous Crossing
A giant 3D dog appeared on digital screens in Tokyo's Bustling District, catching the attention of pedestrians as it leaped across electronic billboards to catch a frisbee.
The dog, an Akita, appears once an hour on eight separate screens outside bustling Shibuya Station.
The installation comes after a 3d cat created by another company, which appeared on a digital billboard in another part of Tokyo last year, went viral.
The busy crossing has a landmark in the form of a statue of a dog named Hachiko. The Akita is remembered for his loyalty as he sat outside the nearby station every day for nearly a decade after his owner's death waiting for him to return.
