Sirbaz Khan Summits Gashebrum-I : Becomes 1st Pakistani To Scale 12 Of 14 Highest Peaks

Mountaineer sirbaz Khan became the first Pakistani to climb 12 of the world's 14 highest peaks — each at a height of more than 8,000 metres — after he scaled the 8080 meters world’s 11th tallest peak Gasherbrum-1 in Pakistan.

Sirbaz Khan summited the Mountain without using supplementary Oxygen. He reached the top at 07:30 Am morning leading a three-member team of Pakistani Mountaineers.

32 years old Sirbaz hails from the Aliabad area of Hunza in Gilgit-Baltistan and began his climbing career in 2016.

Sirbaz is aiming to become the first Pakistani to climb all 14 of the world’s highest peaks.

Meanwhile Naila Kiyani becomes the first Pakistani female Mountaineer to scale three mountains over eight thousand meter height.

Naila Kiyani reached the top of Gashebrum-i early in the morning. She also summited Gashebrum-2 and K-2 earlier.
