CAD Narrows: Current Account Deficit Falls By 41.67%
Pakistan’s Current Account Deficit has fallen to 700 million dollars in August, compared to 1.2 billion dollars the previous month.
State Bank Of Pakistan data put the decline in current account deficit at 41.67 per cent month-on-month.
The decline is primarily due to exports increasing by 500 million dollars and imports declining by around 200 million dollars.
During August, exports increased significantly to 2.81 billion dollars, jumping 23.38 percent.
