FM Addresses OIC Annual Coordination Meeting: Pakistan Ready For Talks With India To Resolve Kashmir Dispute

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Pakistan is ready for talks with India to resolve the Kashmir dispute but it is India’s responsibility to provide a favorable environment for negotiations.

Addressing OIC Annual Coordination Meeting in Newyork Bilawal Bhutto said that India is continuing illegal actions and worst human rights violations against Kashmiris.

He said lasting peace cannot be established in the region until the Kashmir conflict is resolved.

Foreign Minister said innocent people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu And Kashmir are looking towards OIC and Muslim Ummah for their rights.

Addressing the inaugural meeting as the head of OIC Foreign Ministers Council Bilawal Bhutto appreciated the leadership role of Saudi Arabia .

The Foreign Minister said that the world is standing at a critical juncture in history.

He said the procedures established in 1945 for the protection of international peace and security are under pressure.

Talking about Afghanistan the Foreign Minister said that after forty years of war there is a real opportunity to restore lasting peace and security in Afghanistan and the region.

The Foreign Minister appreciated the efforts of Islamic countries for the aid and relief of flood victims in Pakistan.
