The Federal Directorate Of Immunization has included Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine into the immunization program to prevent cervical cancer

Caretaker Federal Minister For National Health Services Dr. Nadeem Jan has said that an integrated strategy has been developed to make the HPV vaccine part of the Immunization Programme.

Minister said practical steps are being taken to ensure 100 percent coverage of the immunization program

He said Immunization Program is rapidly moving towards universal health coverage and all necessary steps are being taken to ensure universal health coverage.

Dr. Nadeem Jan said aim of the initiative is that no boy or girl should be deprived of vaccination across the country.
