Remembering Legendary Qawwal: Aziz Mian Being Remembered On His Birth Anniversary

Birth anniversary of Aziz Mian Qawwal is being observed today.

Born on 17th April 1942 in Delhi, Abdul Aziz known as Aziz Mian was awarded with the Presidential Pride Of Performance in 1989.

His famous Qawwalis include ‘Allah Hi Jane Kaun Bashar Hai’, 'Nabi Nabi Ya Nabi Nabi Ya', 'Teri Soorat' and 'Admi Hai Benazir'.

He obtained his master degrees in Arabic, Persian language, Persian Literature, Urdu Literature and history.

Aziz Mian was died on December 6, 2000 from complications following hepatitis. He was laid to rest in Multan.
