Gaza Facing War & Famine : Israel Strikes Rafah After ICJ Orders To Halt Offensive
The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza strip has risen to 35,857 as Israel launched fresh airstrikes on Rafah ignoring international court of justice orders to stop its military offensive in the city.
According to Gaza health authorities the Israeli army killed 57 Palestinians, during last 24 hours with 93 more wounded, which brought the total injuries to 80,293 since October 2023.
Following the International Court of Justice ordering Israel to stop its military offensive in Rafah with immediate effect, Israel once again launched fierce airstrikes on Rafah.
According to the Palestinian official news agency WAFA, Israel carried out airstrikes on multiple places of Rafah, including a refugee camp and areas near the Abu Youssef Al-Najjar hospital, resulting in a number of causalities.
In addition, WAFA also reported that the Israeli forces attacked Jabalia in Northern Gaza, causing at least five deaths.
The United Nations relief and works agency for Palestine refugees in the near east posted on x that another war is being "unnoticed" in the west bank, as the war rages in Gaza.
