Death Anniversary Of Legend Actor : Legendary Theater, TV Actor Jamil Fakhri Being Remembered

Iconic versatile theater, TV, Film and Stage Actor ‘Jamil Fakhri’ is being remembered on his 13th Death Anniversary today to pay him a rich tribute for his lifetime acting services for entertainment industry.

Jamil Fakhri was born in Lahore, Pakistan in 1946.

Jamil Fakhri worked with many prominent TV Actors of the time including Irfan Khoosat, Khayyam Sarhadi, Firdous Jamal, Masood Akhtar, Kamal Ahmed Rizvi and Nanha, Private Channels reported.

Beside acting in television dramas, he also acted in more than 50 Pakistani Films.

Fakhri gained great popularity through his role as Sho Jaffar Hussain in a TV Series Andhera Ujala. With his restrained style of acting and poker faced comedy, he became one of the faces of PTV’S golden age.

Fakhri died on June 9, 2011 shortly after his Son Ali Ayaz Fakhri was brutally murdered in New York. He was devastated by the death of his Son.
