Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that the promotion of digitalization has become indispensable for development and transparency.

Speaking at the digital nation summit in Islamabad, Ahsan Iqbal said, the digital era has created a revolution, digitalization is closely related to economic development.

He said, digital platforms have now become an important source of employment. He said, students of government universities were given laptops on merit.

Minister of state IT Shaza Fatima while addressing the event said that there are wide opportunities for the youth in the i.t. sector, digitalization process will bring improvement and transparency in management.

He said, the economic inclusion of the backward classes is inevitable for development. Private sector has to play an important role in the development process. Promotion of skill based education is the need of the hour
