Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi called on the Federal Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad.

During the meeting, they discussed overall situation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with particular focus on law and order and the tragic incidents of district Kurram.

They expressed deep concern over the events in kurram and agreed to formulate a multilateral joint strategy to deal with such incidents in the future.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi's assured the KP governor of all possible cooperation in restoing peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said establishing law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the top priority of the government and
Loss of precious human lives over land dispute in Kurram is a tragic incident.

He said some elements gave a wrong color to the conflict between the two groups but the security forces also took effective measures in the context of the situation.
