Pak China Agro Trade Conference : Vast Opportunities To Increase Trade: Jam Kamal
Federal Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has said that there are vast opportunities to increase cooperation and trade in the agricultural sector between Pakistan and China.
Addressing the Pakistan China Agro trade and investment conference at the second food ag exhibition in Karachi, the federal minister said, agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan's Economy and Agriculture plays a key role in the country's GDP growth.
He said, this exhibition will further promote cooperation and trade in the agricultural sector between the two countries.
He said, we are trying to increase trade with different countries to stabilize the country's economy.
Speaking at the event, SIFC Dg Major General Shahid Nazir said, there are 45 million acres of agricultural land available for investment in the country, which Chinese investors can invest in.
he said, there are vast investment opportunities in Pakistan's agricultural sector.
Chairman Trade Development Authority Zubair Motivilla said, on the first day of the exhibition MOUS worth four hundred and twenty million rupees were signed. He said, this is a sign of the success of this exhibition and the importance of the agricultural sector of Pakistan.
