27th Sustainable Development Conference: Resilience Towards Climate Change Key To Foster Sustainable Future
Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani says resilience towards climate change is essential to foster sustainable growth and future for the country.
Addressing the inaugural session of the 27th Annual Sustainable Development Conference in Islamabad, he said that conference will help in fostering sustainable future for the country.
The Acting President said that Pakistan is 5th most vulnerable country to climate change and we have to take measures to tackle with the challenges of the future.
He said social equity, inclusivity and energy efficiency are important for any country to achieve sustainable development.
