Pakistan's first-ever "Made In Pakistan" exhibition was inaugurated in Jeddah, marking a pivotal moment in enhancing the trade relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The exhibition aims to showcase Pakistan’s diverse industrial capabilities and further solidify the economic ties between the two nations.
The exhibition, held in the presence of key Saudi Officials, business leaders, and diplomats, served as a platform for Pakistan to highlight its wide-ranging products and services. These included textiles, sports goods, light engineering, food, construction materials, and much more.
Addressing the distinguished gathering, Federal Minister For Commerce Jam Kamal Khan emphasized the importance of boosting bilateral economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, acknowledging the kingdom’s crucial role in organizing the event.
He expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its consistent support, stating, "this event is a testament to the enduring relationship between our two countries, built on shared faith, cultural ties, and a strategic partnership."
The Minister spotlighted the ongoing efforts by the Pakistani Government to foster stronger trade and investment relations with Saudi Arabia. He pointed out that sectors like Food Security, Energy, Mining, And Human Resource Development present significant opportunities for collaboration, underlining the growing potential of Pakistan’s industrial base and dynamic economy.
Another key aspect of the Minister’s address was the recognition of the 2.7 million-strong Pakistani diaspora in Saudi Arabia.
The Pakistani community, particularly the 1.7 million workers who have migrated to the Kingdom over the last five years, is a cornerstone of the bilateral relationship.
The "Made In Pakistan" exhibition is seen as a significant step toward deepening the economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with both nations committed to advancing mutual prosperity in the years to come.
