Defence Minister Khawaja Asif says Maritime trade plays a Fundamental Role in Economy and it is our Collective Duty to make Joint Efforts to protect Maritime Trade.
Addressesing the Inaugural Ceremony of Aman Dialogue 2025, Khwaja Asif said that world is going Through Major Economic Changes and Trade Tariffs emerges as a Major Challenge among them.
He said that the Indian Ocean holds 50% of World's Oil and Gas reserves and it is an obligation to discuss our Problems at a Global Level.
Khwaja Asif said that the Evolving Maritime threats should be addressed immediately in a Coordinated Response.
He said that Modern Technology, Artificial Intelligence is Reshaping maritime Security Paradigms.
He said that the blue Economy plays Important role for Maritime Issues and Maritime Domain is threatened by other criminal domains so we need to forge unity Amomng our Ranks to Deal with these Challeges.
