Rotterdam Open Tennis: Alcaraz Downs Hurkacz To Reach Rotterdam Final
Top seed Carlos Alcaraz of Spain needed three sets to see off eighth seeded Pole Hubert Hurkacz in an entertaining Rotterdam open tennis semi-final.
The world number three overcame a second set blip to seal a 6-4, 6-7 and 6-3 victory in two hours and 21 minutes.
Alcaraz, in search of a first-ever trophy at an indoors tournament, will next face third Seed Alex De Minaur after the Australian eased past Italian Qualifier Mattia Bellucci 6-1 and 6-2.
