The third colorful sports festival has started at the Baba Guru Nanak University Nankana Sahib.

Vice Chancellor Baba Goru Nanak University Prof. Dr. Mohammad Afzal inaugurated the sports festival and lit the candle along with members of Punjab Assembly Agha Ali Haider Khan and Sardar Khan Bahadur Dogar.

On the first day, there were competition of different games, in which university teachers and students participated.

Horse dance was also presented during the opening ceremony while the students of the university received goodwill from the audience by presenting traditional dances of Punjab, including Bhangra and Luddi.

Speaking on the occasion, speakers said that sports are very important for the physical and mental development of students.

Under Khelta Punjab Program on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab, sports competitions were organized so that talented players came out and could reveal the name of their country and area.

During the four -day sports festival, there will be competitions between students and teachers in national and regional games.
