Mexican Families separated by the border with the united states had a chance to briefly reunite at a "hugs not walls" event held at the border between the two Countries.
Nearly 200 Families separated by immigration policies walked to meet on a platform set in the center of the grande river, which serves as a natural border between both Countries.
The event, organized by the border network for human rights, was first held in 2016.
This year, participants said they hoped the outcome of the upcoming presidential election in the united states would not further affect migrants.
