The 52nd National Athletics Championship 2024 has begun in Multan.

A grand ceremony was held at Ayub Stadium on the occasion in which Pakistan’s pride, Olympics Gold Medalist Javelin Thrower Arshad Nadeem was the special guest.

The 4-day Championship will feature a total of 45 events, including 24 men and 21 women events.

As many as 800 male and female athletes and more than 100 officials from Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Jammu And Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Police, WAPDA and higher education commission are participating in the event.

A number of competitions will be held during the championship, which will continue till December 2.
